Our History

 

When Medicom founder Ronald Reuben was just 23 years old, a conversation with a friend changed the course of his life. From that conversation, Reuben learned that the AIDS crisis had created an urgent need for personal protective equipment for healthcare workers. Following his entrepreneurial instincts and desire to make a difference, he immediately set to work developing high-quality medical examination gloves under the SafeTouch brand.

Demand grew rapidly and it wasn’t long before Mr. Reuben purchased his own factory. He equipped himself with state-of-the-art technology, traveled the world to source the highest quality raw materials and hired leading scientific experts to design and develop the most reliable personal protective equipment on the market. This unwavering commitment to quality, reliability and continuous innovation has earned Medicom the trust of healthcare professionals worldwide.
