Corporate Social Responsibility

Our Approach

At Medicom, all our decisions are guided by our mission: to make the world a safer, healthier place by providing effective and reliable protection. Our corporate social responsibility strategy is built around three key areas most important to our organization: Community, Climate, and Commerce. These priorities reflect the greatest opportunities and risks impacting our business, stakeholders, environment, and society.

Climate

Medicom is committed to implementing solutions to reduce our environmental footprint. Through better waste management, in-depth product lifecycle analysis, achieving our carbon footprint reduction targets, and developing sustainable products, we continuously improve our processes to become more responsible every day.

Commerce

As a responsible and sustainable leader, Medicom respects human rights and aligns its business practices with core values. We monitor our interactions with the environment and society, starting with every link in the supply chain, to improve our collective impact. Our business practices are guided by corporate policies and codes of conduct that set clear ethical expectations for our global employees, suppliers, and business partners.

Message from Our CEO

The past few years, particularly during the pandemic, have brought tremendous transformation for Medicom. Our corporate social responsibility strategy is rooted in our values of responsibility, teamwork, customer focus, and empathy. We recognized the need to revise our ESG standards and formally incorporate them into our long-term CSR strategy.

We evaluated this from two perspectives: impact on business activities and importance to stakeholders, which highlighted the most significant ESG themes for Medicom.

We're pleased to demonstrate how our revised ESG standards better enable us to fulfill our mission of making the world a safer, healthier place through effective and reliable protection.

Alignment with UN Sustainable Development Goals

Helping accelerate progress

Medicom believes that businesses can play a key role in providing solutions to "end poverty, protect the planet, and improve the lives and prospects of everyone, everywhere," as outlined in the United Nations (UN) 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

Our business contributes to several of the UN's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Driving action to achieve these goals is a priority we actively pursue.

Furthermore, with a focus on continuous improvement, we constantly evaluate how to further implement the objectives set out in the UN's global agenda within our business.
