Development of the Traffic and Incident Management System (Systems Analysis & Design and Project Management) – Design and Construction, CE1/2011(TT)
Designing and development of the Traffic Incident Management System (TIMS) which will be used for emergency response to traffic incident by the Traffic Control Centre of the Transport Department (TD). Works included user requirement analysis and system design of the TIMS, also have to integrate with all peripheral electronic traffic control systems of TD. Other scopes of the project including reviewing of latest international practice of TIMS, defining data standard specifications and designing system interface protocols with other GIS stakeholders i.e. Police and Fire Services Departments. Prototype and detailed user interfaces of the TIMS will be developed before tendering out the system construction work. Also, have to carry out supervision during the implementation and maintenance periods of the project. This is a project lasted for 57 months of service and cost over HKD$18 Millions of consultancy fee.
