Building Inspection for Hong Kong “Three-Nil Buildings”

In addition to our work with the Housing Authority, we have been commissioned by the Hong Kong Buildings Department (“BD”) to conduct A.I. analysis with our partner H3Zoom, on buildings rated as "high risk," with a primary focus on the defects of "Three-nil buildings." This analysis aims to expedite their maintenance efforts. "Three-nil buildings" refer to structures that lack owners' corporations, residents' organizations, and property management companies, leading to significant maintenance challenges. As of December 2023, there are over 3,000 such buildings in Hong Kong. Our A.I. analytic model enhances the efficiency of identifying common buildings façade defects by rapidly analysing captured images and generating comprehensive reports on the buildings' conditions. In the second half of 2024, BD utilized our A.I. model to inspect more than 50 buildings across Hong Kong. This demonstrates that our technology is making a valuable contribution to the city and gaining traction in the market.
