School Nurse
Our school has 1 Nurse officer, 2 Registered Nurses, and 2 Health Workers to provide nursing services of the school.
Nursing Services include:
- Provide students with high-quality daily care, feeding and first aid services, including lunch time medicine distribution, insulin injections, feeding puree food thus gastrostomy and wound crae services, etc.
- Coordinate various school health projects and vaccinations, including student health services, school dental health services, daily physical examinations, influenza vaccines and other immunization.
- Promote health education and cultivate students to establish good healthy living habits. Activities include: personal hygiene education, healthy diet promotion, "Joyful fruit Month", etc. The Nursing Unit will also publish relevant health information on " PAS Newsletter " to promote various health messages.
- Prevention and control of infectious diseases, such as influenza, chickenpox, hand foot and mouth disease, etc.
- Monitor school students lunch meal to ensure they are nutritionally balanced and hygienic.
Implement health assessment for intake new students
- Edit and update the health records of all students in the school for reference when staff plan and implement school activities and extracurricular activities.
- Provide individual health care and consultation, such as diabetes, encephalitis, various genetic diseases and healthy diet advice.
- Monitor school campus environmental hygiene.
- Implement health assessment for new students.
