We have adopted the Invitational Education (IE) approach since 2005. Through the 5 Ps strategies (Places, Polices, Programs, Processes and People) of IE, we intentionally create an inviting environment where students are encouraged to develop their untapped potential. Students are aimed to expand their learning abilities and thinking skills and also develop a positive outlook on life.
We believe by creating an inviting environment in campus, we can spread our love and care to every stakeholder of our school. With respect, trust and optimism, through intentional arrangement, we are able to build a healthy and encouraging team, which helps students to develop a positive value towards life.

Our school promotes a culture of care to every stakeholder in the school, and uses the respect, trust and optimism in IE beliefs, and through deliberate arrangements and planning, we build a good and healthy staff team, determined to help students establish a positive value orientation. In line with curriculum development, the school cultivates 12 primary values and attitudes in students. Our school believes that having equal opportunity helps students exert their potential to the maximum and prepares them for integration and serving in the community. The school’s strategy is to set off with the basic beliefs of respect, trust, care, and optimism. We value every student‘s physical and intelligence needs. Our professional staffs works together to make an “Individual Learning Plan (ILP)” for each student.
Our school actively provides an ideal learning environment, curriculum and accommodations for physically handicapped and multiple disabled children to promote students' learning effectiveness. Moreover, our school emphasizes on students' personal growth and moral education. So, we implement “comprehensive guidance service.” We promote students’ growth through developmental and preventive activities. Our school deliberately provides opportunities for students to experience the spirit of democracy by being involved in determining the school's policies (such as class rules and school rules).
The home-school co-operation collaborates primarily through “Parent Staff Association” and “School's Advisory Committee” to let parents be involved in school governance discussions.
In the development of assistive technology and auxiliary communication, our school continuously seeks breakthrough and additional resources for the purpose of strengthening the students' physical development, to break through barriers and to have self-affirmation. Our school actively interacts with the community and became a “special needs school and resource center” to provide professional support for integrated students who are enrolled in mainstream schools.

Through a series of campus greening and beautification tasks to show students' learning outcomes and outstanding achievements. These always carry out a positive message of life. Our school deliberately lowered the height of notice board to meet the needs of wheelchair students. Also, our school deliberately creates a bilingual learning environment and arranges students to participate in designing for school posters to show students' smiling faces and positive messages. Moreover, a "reading corner", an "eco house", an "organic farming garden", and a "hall of fame" are established. On the other hand, to keep the school clean and sanitize, we regularly allow students to participate in classroom cleaning competitions and appoint staff as "ambassadors for cleanliness".
In order to keep the school clean and tidy, school staff received 5S training to systematically tidy up the campus with regular organization, regular rectification, regular cleaning, regular standardization and regular self-discipline.
Our school is determined to establish a caring culture. We have established "caring ambassadors" and "invitational core group" to assist in implementing caring activities. The aim is to increase various stakeholders, including students, the principal, teachers, therapists, staff, caretakers and parents' sense of belonging towards the school. Our school's teaching staff and students have a harmonious relationship, parents and the school work closely and all staff work closely together to exert a professional teamwork collaboration spirit. Together, we work to build a big family of PAS, which promotes the holistic development of students.

PAS is like a big family. The school actively promotes different types of physical lectures and activities. At the same time, the environment is deliberately designed to coordinate with different festival activities, so that teachers and students can feel the festive atmosphere through campus decoration and strengthen cohesion, such as: IE X Christmas, IE Christmas care and warmth, etc. Christmas is a time for family reunions, emphasizing love and care. We can take this opportunity to reflect on the past year and be grateful for the people and things around us.
School curricula and activities are diversified to cater for the needs of students with different abilities; we create space and provide appropriate support for students to maximize their potential. The school attaches great importance to students' personal growth and moral education, so that students can overcome physical limitations, break through obstacles, and better understand themselves and challenge themselves.
The "Invitational Education Award Scheme" is based on the concept of Inspire Potential Education and combines the five core elements of education - care, respect, trust, optimism and deliberate arrangements, with the aim of rewarding students for their performance beyond themselves. We have integrated the rapid development of information technology into the award plan and implemented electronic management to replace traditional paper and pencil records. This not only increases learning motivation, but also fosters students' development of inspiring learning, personal growth and multi-faceted potential.
Our rewards program is based on "PAS", which represents three important elements:
Combining these three elements, we defined the potential index (IE value) to encourage all students in the school to "do PAS well!" When students complete their goals, they can instantly receive bonus points and accumulate points.
The concepts of "PAS" Inspire Potential Award Scheme include:
Striving to maximize students' benefits in learning and treatment, the school actively provides experiential learning and allocates resources to allow students to participate in on-campus and off-campus activities to expand their areas of life. Our students actively participate in competitions organized for mainstream students and have repeatedly achieved outstanding results. Many of our school's sports elites have represented Hong Kong and participated in international competitions with outstanding results.

The school is committed to creating an encouraging atmosphere and a supportive environment on campus, so that students can feel valued, loved, appreciated and accepted in the learning process and daily life. The school deliberately creates opportunities to affirm students' abilities in the process. The school actively provides opportunities for students to participate in activities organized for mainstream students, so that students can consolidate their self-confidence and social skills through practice. At the staff and parent levels, the school receives different opinions through formal and informal communication channels.
